Fails to convert characters in files

When I load the game after the installation it fails to convert some characters such as ". I sit there pressing skip all and it just persists so if anyone can find out why this happens I'd appreciate that. Cheers.

You need to set ShowErrors to FALSE in your rebellion.user.setting and rebellion.user.dev.setting files which are found in ...\Sins of a Solar Empire Rebellion\Setting
